A PET voted RSPCA Rescue Dog of the Year has been showered with prizes.
Alfie, a three-year-old Newfoundland, turned prematurely grey after a previous owner kept him in a pen.
But he is thriving with new owner Julia Marsh-Pitt, from Chester-le-Street. He helps her cope with a rare neurological condition called cluster headache.....
